Environments

Environments are modifications that are applied to the game board as whole, often in the form of effects that happen when either player performs a certain action, or when a turn or round begins. Environments can be added to a duel against the AI through the battle screen. Up to 3 different environments can be active at once. On the game board, environments show as small icons in the top left corner of the screen, which can be clicked to bring up a card popup with more info.

List of environments

Combat passives

Whenever a player plays a ship, that ship will be granted the selected passive, unless that ship already has any passive that this environment can offer.
Options :

  • 'Cerberus' (affected ships lose 49% attack)
  • 'Hydra' (affected ships lose 66% attack)
  • 'Randomstrike 1'
  • 'Randomstrike 2' (affected ships lose 25% attack)
  • 'Multistrike 2' (affected ships lose 25% attack)
  • 'Overpower'

Fleet passives

Whenever a player plays a ship, that ship will be granted the selected passive. These passives will stack with existing ones on affected cards.
Options :

  • 'Resist 2'
  • 'Retaliate 2'
  • 'Restore 1'
  • 'Ethereal'

Shielded

At the start of a player's turn, a random unshielded ship or structure that player owns gains 1 shield.

Energy Vortex

At the start of a player's turn, that player's opponent loses all energy.

Asteroids

At the start of each round, an asteroid appears in a random open ship slot.

Void

At the start of each round, the contents of a randomly chosen ship or structure slot are destroyed.

Reinforcements

At the start of a player's turn, a random basic spawn is launched in one of that player's random open ship slots.

Fortifications

At the start of a player's turn, that player's base gains 2-4 base HP.

Relentless

At the start of a player's turn, that player gains an additional combat phase that turn.

Limited

At the start of a player's turn, that player is limited to playing only 1-2 ships, structures, and actions that turn.

Cloakfield

At the start of a player's turn, uncloaked cards in that player's hand become cloaked.
Options :

  • ship and structure cards in hand are cloaked
  • only ship cards in hand are cloaked
  • only structure cards in hand are cloaked

Random

A randomly chosen environment.

Restrictions

Cloakfield is not available in Unpredictable mode.
