Info : 'Beyond Black Void' is another
solo-project by S. (Until Death Overtakes Me, The Ethereal, Fall Of
The Grey-Winged One,...) and was founded in september 2002. The music
BBV brings has a lot in commen with funeral doom : it's slow and
ultra-heavy, but above that it's also very nihilistic and
minimalistic. Some tracks last 30 minutes and consist only out of
ultra heavy and slow rhythm guitars and long, even slower lead guitar
with some sparse vocals and an occasional timpani beat. Sometimes the
heavy and long guitar chords are so slow and heavy they might as well
be ambient or drone. 'Desolate', the first album by this project was
released on the first day of 2003 and consist only out of 3 tracks but
brings almost 70 minutes of the most suicidal, most nihilistic funeral
doom ever...
