.: DREAMS OF DYING STARS :.

Info : Dreams Of Dying Stars was born in june 2002, and in only a very short time lots of tracks were written and placed online. The kind of music DODS played can be described as a mix between melancholic, sometimes even dramatic dark wave and dark space ambient, inspired by the majestic beauty of the universe. DODS first album, 'StarDance' was finished in december 2002 and contained 5 lengthy tracks, the album was released in may 2003. At the time all material for 'StarDance' was written and recorded, most of the material for the second album was already finished and it's going to be an even more minimalistic and majestic experience as the the first album. Also a 3-way split with 'I Dream No More' and 'Until Death Overtakes Me', both solo-projects by the founder of DODS and a very experimental 4-hour track are on their way as well...
The experimental project 'Aeon', to be released as a trilogy, part of the 'Interludium' series, contains long tracks, created with only one note each. The first release in the 'Aeon' trilogy contains one 61-minute ambient soundscape...
Shortly after the release of 'Aeon E', the second full-length 'Funeral In The Void' was released, containing almost 80 minutes of majestic, orchestral dark ambient space/wave.
