Bio : Founded in november 2001, 'Fall
Of The Grey-Winged One' is S. his third solo-project. the first tracks
ever written by this project showed the basic elements which resulted
in the first demo, 'Aeons Of Dreams' : heavy distorted drone-layers
with a strong ambient feel, long tracks without any percussion except
for the occasional metallic, industrial 'percussion' and once in a
while some clear ambient riffs or even electric violins. These
ingredients managed to create an atmosphere of emptiness which layed
heavy upon the souls of the listeners and held them captive in a world
without hope, showing them only one path : that one to the emptiness,
the nothingness of death. 'Aeons Of Dreams' was album at the month at
doom-metal.com for november 2002, only one year after the birth of
this project.
After this remarkable feat, the music changed somewhat : next to the
'usual' elements from the first album, there were now some sparce
ultra-deep, guttural vocals and even ambient sounding organs and
pianos, but only to increase the massive weight of these
despair-filled tracks. Like on the first album, only 3 tracks were
enough to fill over one hour of heavy ambient drones and so 'Death
Time Emptiness' was born...
Rumours say that FOTGWO is working on an ultra-minimalistic
experimental track, with a duration of 4 hours...
