THE MIST :.
Bio : In The Mist was founded by S. in
august 2002. This solo-project was named after a track written for S'
first solo-project, 'Until Death Overtakes Me'. The new project
continued the genre of music that the track 'In The Mist' introduced :
a sinister kind of dark ambient, consisting out of layers of heavy
drones, cloaked in a dense fog. Mainly created by a bass-guitar, the
music sounds like the thick pounding of a distant organic machine, a
never-ending sound that seems to come from all directions and will
disorient those who dare enter the fog. Occasionally, the dense mist
seems to break open and allow clear and sad synths to enter the mix,
but not to comfort the listener, as these 'rays of light' only show
that there is no way out and on must dwell in this trance-inducing
droning madness forever...Only 2 months after In The Mist was
founded, this project released it's first album, 'Lost', containing
only one track : a 69-minute lasting drone/gloom scape...
