About the game :

Star Mass combines elements from Rogue-like and Dungeon Crawl type games with a partybased Role Playing system. The player controls a fleet of up to 5 ships with which he/she can explore various sectors in space and clear those of hostile fleets. Advancing through sectors will level up the ships in the player's fleet and give access to more advanced modules to fit on the ships.
In true Dungeon Crawl fashion, the focus of the game is on defeating large numbers of hostile fleets and gathering vast amounts of wealth and loot, without any complex storyline or multiple quests getting in the way of the fighting. The Role Playing elements give the player a lot of possibilities when it comes to composing the fleet and advancing the ships in the fleet. At several key levels, the ships can upgrade or choose a specialization path.
