UDOM), which is the alter ego of a certain Belgian personality called
Stijn Van Cauter.
The band was founded in 1999 and has since undergone several and
sever line-up and musical
changes, finally ending up as the solo outfit for Stijn to spread his
visions about this worthless and lifeless existence we suffer every
day. You might think that this is another "extreme misanthropic
necrodarkness" release, but it is not. Imagine SKEPTICISM and
FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON in a huge dark hall, while both bands are
having
their worst shortage of amphetamine for a week. Both bands are
playing. Now add your own worst claustrophobic nightmares. Imagine

Stijn Van Cauter has also been active in bands like THE ETHEREAL
(vocals) and PANTHEÏST (live guitarist, also playing on their
upcoming European tour with SKEPTICISM in April 2003). Besides these
activities he is also engaged in bands and projects that search the
natural musical limits of various genres other than doom metal. In
other words, Stijn Van Cauter is an multi-talented musician with a
