Added a new cardpool generator for unpredictable mode, replacing the old system. The game will now create a pool of cards, based on the chosen races, from where cards will be drawn during a duel. This card pool will not include cards that are incompatible with this game mode, and may contain fewer copies of cards that are considered not fully compatible or too powerful for this game mode.
Unpredictable mode now supports custom cards. Since the custom card generator can filter out abilities that are incompatible with the unpredictable game mode, all cards will be present in the pool, even those that are considered incompatbile when unpredictable runs in 'core set' mode.
Unpredictable mode now supports spectrum decks. Spectrum decks have 25% chance to be generated when players select both 'dice' icons when choosing the races for their decks. Spectrum decks only contain cards that are actually in game at this point.
The list of cards that either don't appear in unpredictable (while in 'core set' mode) at all, or that have less chance to be drawn, has been updated. A few more cards that interact with deck, scrap or hand have been added to this list.
Updated the custom generator ability textlength check, removing a few more situations where cards could be generated that had too much ability text in their card popups.
Fixed a bug with the 'Dark Bolt' and 'Lightning Arc' actions that could crash the game when the AI was contemplating using them.
Fixed a bug which caused ships with the 'Siege' passive that did attack during a combat phase to still deal their siege damage during that same combat phase.
While a valid tactic, the AI will no longer use 'Lightning Arc' or 'Dark Bolt' on its own ships, until the AI is better at determining the negative impact on itself as a result of using these actions in this manner.
Adjusted the AI of Breaker Drone's acti so that it no longer emphasises the stat gain on the ship with this ability, but instead primarily looks at the stat loss on opposing ships.
Several minor typographical fixes in ability texts.
Overseer's acti ability has been updated and will now disable Overseer instead of the target of the ability.
Datacide's cost has been reduced from 5+1 to 3.
Mass Regeneration now repairs ships for up to 6 HP instead of 4.
Clone cost reduced from 3 to 1.
Slave Spire is a CC/MT structure again, instead of a CC/RV one.
Changed the 'Berserk' action : the affected ship will lose its acti ability and has its attack capped at 5.
The game will check once per session if a new version is available. The results of this check are shown on the main menu, as an additional icon on top of the 'notes' icon. This check happens only on the main menu, and the game will attempt no more than 3 checks in case of errors or no internet connection.
The patchnotes dialog box received an extra page that provides more details about the result of the version check.
In preparation of upcoming account-related features, the default username has been set to 'Guest' (with a set of random digits). This username will be editable in future updates, but can already be changed in the settings file.
Acti icons for abilities that result in the destruction of card that owns the ability have been adjusted so they stand out a bit more compared to regular acti abilities.
