V 3.03.000 (06 january 2015)
- Made several corrections to the deckstring processor to make sure that HDx deckstrings containing the unique racial actions can be imported.
- Support Node's play ability (all allies gain +X defense) has been updated so it no longer affects self. Support Node's defense has been increased by 8.
- Added the CC card set.
- Abilities from the CC card set have been added to the custom card generator.
- Custom cards with the 'unstable' passive will be given the 'fast' passive as well, and an attack boost.
- Custom cards with the auto ability that deals damage to owner will have their card cost lowered.
- Added several of the new abilities to the flagship editor.
- Adjusted several acti icons.
V 3.03.001 (13 january 2015)
- Added a new cardpool generator for unpredictable mode, replacing the old system. The game will now create a pool of cards, based on the chosen races, from where cards will be drawn during a duel. This card pool will not include cards that are incompatible with this game mode, and may contain fewer copies of cards that are considered not fully compatible or too powerful for this game mode.
- Unpredictable mode now supports custom cards. Since the custom card generator can filter out abilities that are incompatible with the unpredictable game mode, all cards will be present in the pool, even those that are considered incompatbile when unpredictable runs in 'core set' mode.
- Unpredictable mode now supports spectrum decks. Spectrum decks have 25% chance to be generated when players select both 'dice' icons when choosing the races for their decks. Spectrum decks only contain cards that are actually in game at this point.
- The list of cards that either don't appear in unpredictable (while in 'core set' mode) at all, or that have less chance to be drawn, has been updated. A few more cards that interact with deck, scrap or hand have been added to this list.
- Updated the custom generator ability textlength check, removing a few more situations where cards could be generated that had too much ability text in their card popups.
- Fixed a bug with the 'Dark Bolt' and 'Lightning Arc' actions that could crash the game when the AI was contemplating using them.
- Fixed a bug which caused ships with the 'Siege' passive that did attack during a combat phase to still deal their siege damage during that same combat phase.
- While a valid tactic, the AI will no longer use 'Lightning Arc' or 'Dark Bolt' on its own ships, until the AI is better at determining the negative impact on itself as a result of using these actions in this manner.
- Adjusted the AI of Breaker Drone's acti so that it no longer emphasises the stat gain on the ship with this ability, but instead primarily looks at the stat loss on opposing ships.
- Several minor typographical fixes in ability texts.
- Overseer's acti ability has been updated and will now disable Overseer instead of the target of the ability.
- Datacide's cost has been reduced from 5+1 to 3.
- Mass Regeneration now repairs ships for up to 6 HP instead of 4.
- Clone cost reduced from 3 to 1.
- Slave Spire is a CC/MT structure again, instead of a CC/RV one.
- Changed the 'Berserk' action : the affected ship will lose its acti ability and has its attack capped at 5.
- The game will check once per session if a new version is available. The results of this check are shown on the main menu, as an additional icon on top of the 'notes' icon. This check happens only on the main menu, and the game will attempt no more than 3 checks in case of errors or no internet connection.
- The patchnotes dialog box received an extra page that provides more details about the result of the version check.
- In preparation of upcoming account-related features, the default username has been set to 'Guest' (with a set of random digits). This username will be editable in future updates, but can already be changed in the settings file.
- Acti icons for abilities that result in the destruction of card that owns the ability have been adjusted so they stand out a bit more compared to regular acti abilities.
V 3.03.002 (22 january 2015)
- Fixed a bug with Breaker Drone's acti. In rare situations, this ability ignored one of the allied ships. The ignored ship would still be able to attack, but would not contribute to the Breaker Drone's stat boost.
- Fixed a bug in the AI that could cause the game to crash in rare situations, related to custom cards with certain ability values.
- Fixed a visual bug that resulted in cards that had used their restore ability to not update their attack and defense values right away on the on-board card image.
- Updated the game log to improve tracking of errors related to custom cards.
- Added an error checker that attempts to catch flagship setups that are no longer compatible with the latest version of the game. Currently, when this detects an error, it simply resets the flagship to the default state.
- Fixed one case where the game could crash on android, if the game was moved to the background during the loading phase.
- Race selections or mouse-overs for decks on the combat screen have received brackets to make the active selection or mouse-over more apparent.
- Added a level select slider for the AI's difficulty level to the battle setup screen. Click/tap the difficulty level label (in between the two arrow buttons that allow to change the level) to bring up the slider. Click/tap the slider anywhere to quickly set the difficulty level to that amount.
