HD3 contains 87 achievements. Unlocking them can grant cards, boosts and mercenaries, and can even unlock upgrade slots for your flagship. The progress towards completing achievements is documented in detail in the profile screen.

Achievements are grouped into sets. There are 9 sets with 7 achievements and 4 sets with 6. Within each set, one of the achievements is a set achievement, whose unlock progress depends on the unlock progress of all other achieves in the same set.
Every achievement, including set achievements has 4 tiers that are to be unlocked seperately. The first tier roughly translates to reaching 1/8th of the final tier's progress, the second tier is unlocked about 1/4th of the way to the final tier and the third tier about half the way to the fourth.

The 9 sets with 7 cards all have similar achievements, but each set targets a different race. The general achievements in this set are :

• Win 15, 30, 50, 90 duels against opponents of this race.
• Win 20, 40, 70, 120 duels with this race.
• Launch 120, 250, 400, 750 ships of this race.
• Deploy 80, 160, 300, 500 structures of this race.
• Play 25, 50, 100, 175 actions of this race.
• Generate 1000, 2000, 4000, 7500 energy of this race.

Each racial set also has a set achievement that unlocks when 1, 2, 3, 4 tiers have been reached in all other achievements within that set.

The 4 sets with 6 cards also have a set achievement that unlocks when 1, 2, 3, 4 tiers have been reached in all other achievements in that set. The general achievements available in these 4 sets are :

• Reach player level 10, 60, 65, 100.
• Reach player level 20, 55, 70, 95.
• Reach player level 30, 50, 75, 90.
• Reach player level 40, 45, 80, 85.
• Defeat a level 75, 99, 120, 141 mercenary boss.
• Craft or collect 25, 50, 100, 200 combat boosts.
• Collect 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000 boost tokens.
• Hire or collect 25, 50, 100, 200 mercenaries.
• Collect 250, 500, 1000, 2000 mercenary tokens.
• Collect 125, 250, 500, 1000 cards.
• Launch 1250, 2500, 5000, 10000 ships.
• Deploy 750, 1500, 3000, 6000 structures.
• Play 250, 500, 1000, 2000 actions.
• Use 50, 100, 200, 400 combat boosts.
• Use 40, 80, 160, 320 mercenaries.
• Generate 10000, 20000, 40000, 80000 energy.
• Destroy 750, 1500, 3000, 6000 opposing ships.
• Destroy 50, 100, 200, 400 opposing structures.
• Win 150, 300, 600, 1200 duels.
• Deal 15000, 35000, 75000, 150000 total damage to opposing bases.

Reaching a tier in any achievement comes with a reward. In most cases this will be regular, random card, but some achievements can also reward boosts or mercenary cards. Set achievements always reward a specific legend. With currently 13 legends in the game, completing all achievements will guarantee you 4 copies of each of those legends.
Achievements that reward regular or mercenary cards will grant better cards at higher tiers : tier 1 will result in a common card, tier 2 in an uncommon and tiers 3 and 4 in elite cards.
Racial achievements will only hand out cards of the same race.

Regular cards are randomly picked, but the game will first try to pick a card that a player has less than 4 copies of.
